LINE handles the day-to-day processes required for the efficient management of a liner shipping operation. In addition, it also assists with the carriage of dangerous goods. LINE is fully EDI compliant and communicates with agents, carriers, terminals, depots and maritime authorities. It enables your activities to become faster, more accurate and easier to execute.
For carriers, it manages the administration of each voyage and delivers real-time information giving you complete control over your quotations, bookings and bill of lading process. This vital data gives you the ability to optimise vessel employment and pro-actively manage your revenues. It will increase your billing accuracy ensuring a faster and simplified revenue collection process.
For agents, LINE allows you to manage a range of carriers and the daily processes associated with sales and marketing, quotations, bookings and documentation. Electronic data interchange with your principals in respect to booking and manifest data will avoid double data entry and increase efficiency substantially.
VOYCES manages and monitors vessel schedules, voyage progress and port call activities. Planned, preliminary and actual schedules are monitored and updated from arrival, departure and noon-reports. Unforeseen delays during port operations are reported and analysed via the statements of facts. Direct links with other Softship applications and your own company website allows transparent and efficient voyage planning and re-scheduling.
Real-time port cost calculation and a final voyage calculation based on actual revenues and costs are made possible by VOYCES and its interaction with the Softship LINE (commercial) and AIDA (cost management) applications.
For greater accuracy, agents may directly input their actual costs per invoice via a web interface. A range of statistical analysis is also available.
Our AIDA application automatically manages the disbursement accounting process for carriers and agents.
For carriers, it allows the real-time consolidation of disbursement account data received from your agents world-wide. The system will consolidate voyage calculation estimates, automatically reconcile supplier invoices against estimates received, maintain a record of supplier tariffs and enable a complete profit and loss analysis. This delivers tighter cost-control and a speedy reversal of billing resulting in enhanced cash-flow.
For agents, AIDA will consolidate all your revenues and costs to generate a daily disbursement account report for each of your principals in a format of their choosing. It will also manage your cash account.
AIDA will link directly to your own accounting system eliminating errors and the need for duplicate data entry, this will speed up your accounting process.
With our CMC application you can take complete control of your world-wide container stock simply and efficiently.
For carriers, CMC integrates using EDI with all your terminals and depots to provide real-time reports on where your containers are located, their load status, their availability and their state of repair. Information on your container movements, both owned and leased, are received from quay operators, stevedores, forwarders and agents allowing you tighter control and avoiding long dwell times. Associated information allows easy management of leased equipment, including relevant contracts. CMC will also calculate and analyse leasing costs and automatically reconcile invoices.For agents, this application allows you to manage individual, local container fleets including associated demurrage and detention calculations. EDI allows quick and easy reporting of container movements to your principal.
Our SMARTS application streamlines the maintenance and repair process of your containers by connecting all those involved including depots, surveyors and carriers. It provides complete transparency to the process giving you total control of your container repair process.
The software automatically reconciles repair estimates against recorded tariffs to highlight and eliminate any mismatches. It will identify duplicate repairs and reconcile invoices with approved estimates. In addition, information such as repair estimates can be exchanged with repair depots using EDI or internet (ISO9897 compliant) with auto-approval limits defined by you.SMARTS handles all types of container repair including conventional, tank and reefer containers as well as chassis and gensets.
There is an enormous amount of data flowing through the various Softship applications installed in your company and SIBIA is designed to capture this information and present it to you in a user-friendly and easily readable format.
This vital management tool utilises Microsoft Sharepoint and SQL Server to deliver user-defined data, reports and analysis to a software client of your choice. Business information is displayed numerically or graphically allowing you to drill-down to the detail. A range of KPI analysis is supported as well as the ability to create a series of pre-defined or ad hoc reports.
SIBIA is an invaluable tool that will allow you to quickly identify key trends in your business. It may be accessed across your group providing visibility and control throughout your company and highlighting risks and opportunities as they arise.
Our TMS application is designed to manage the simultaneous handling of containerised, ro‑ro and general cargo for multiple shipping operators. It ensures the smooth operation of the terminal as well as coordinating interaction and communication with agents and carriers.
Gate, logistics, yard and vessel operations are controlled using barcode scanners allowing all cargo events to be evaluated immediately. Other features include a self-check-in facility for truckers and full temperature monitoring for reefers. Our graphical yard planner provides an at-a-glance overview of the terminal with drill-down facilities for each cargo type.
ATLANTIS is specifically designed to handle the efficient, speedy and accurate management of claims. Files are opened, managed and monitored in real‑time and comprehensive search mechanisms allow easy retrieval of essential information. An add‑on application for P&I correspondents to manage time‑sheets and invoicing is available along with additional applications for P&I brokers.
ATLANTIS also supports the fast and accurate exchange of data between the shipping company, P&I correspondent and/or broker via Windows based interfaces.
BASE is your central administrative tool allowing you to set system-wide security and user definitions – even down to individual field views for named users, if required. It gives you total control and flexibility over the sharing of data between applications and outstations providing comfort that only authorised users will be able to access data that you decide to share. Full configuration of your master data and settings such as customer information, vessel details and location codes are undertaken in BASE.
EDI Guard is the application that will handle your file management and the automatic transfer of your files by email (POP3, SMTP), FTP or point-to-point communication based on user defined, flexible rules. It is suitable for LAN and WAN based exchange of electronic files in a secured environment between an unlimited number of partners. The data exchange process is fully controlled by EDI Guard and ensures guaranteed delivery where every activity is logged.
Complete control over all servers and file jobs is delivered to the administrator through the EDI Guard control centre. From here, all activities workload and data exchange rules relating to all servers are visible.
